mICAH tOLER, ceo & foUNDER
Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Owner, Micah, started this adventure because he wanted to create a company where passion for the craft could be honed and where personal growth is more important than profit margins. Not only does he want to leave a homeowner with a space that is distinctly theirs, but disciple young men and women coming into the trades to be not just good carpenters - but GOOD PEOPLE! When he’s not improving other people’s homes, Micah likes to spend time with his wife, Jessie, and is active hiking, biking and playing with their dog, Titan.
cHASE nEWHOUSE, Foreman & Project Manager
Our Foreman, Chase, has been with Distinct Home Solutions since its inception in 2018 (practically) when Micah called him out of a life in scaffolding. Having known the Toler’s for about two decades, being closer to home more often and getting to creatively problem solve for a living, was a no brainer. He continues to work alongside Micah to create beautiful custom pieces such as composite decks, unique handrails, and one-of-a-kind furniture for hard to design spaces. Basements are his favorite as they give him the ability to do “every facet of the jobs we do - everything from framing to drywall, cabinet installs and trim work”. When he’s not creating uniquely distinct spaces, you’ll often find Chase enjoying the outdoors with his wife, Christina, and two sons. *MEH!* Deer Hunting is also a passion of his, bow season specifically.
Jessie Toler, COO & Office Manager
Our Operations Manager, COO, & Owner of DCS, Jessie Toler, has been alongside Micah for over a decade now and a part of DHS since October of 2019. She has been able to streamline the process for Homeowners and Crew alike. When she’s not at the office chatting with homeowners or showroom preparing samples and materials, she’s with her husband and owner of DHS, Micah and their Rottie pup, Titan! Outside of Monday night Turbokick class, Jessie loves getting to spend time with her growing number of nieces and nephews.
Logan Cheatham, Carpenter
Our Carpenter, Logan, started with us in December of 2022 and has been working alongside our Foreman, Chase now for some time. He has not quit in his eagerness to learn and immerse himself into each job he has been a part of. His reserved, kind, and hardworking attitude has been the perfect addition to our DHS Crew. He has grown to enjoy Bathroom Renovations getting to see the full gut into a whole new space, as well as Basements where he gets to put all his skills to work from studs to finish work. When his tool belt is in the truck at the end of the day you can find him *splash* on a boat up at Mark Twain Lake with his wife, Kaitlyn, or at home with their three (3) fur babies - two (2) cats and a Golden Retriever.
Colson Deevers, Carpenter
Our Carpenter, Colson, started with us in October of 2025 and has been remodeling homes and working in construction since high school. He recently graduated from Ranken Tech and was introduced to Micah and the DHS team through a mutual friend with Habitat for Humanity. He has shown nothing but value, growth, loyalty, and teamwork since joining our team. Finish Trim work has been his favorite, especially when he gets to see the vision of a project before any work has begun through to completion. When he’s not with his family and dog or here with us you can find him as commissioner and manager of the greatest fantasy football league of all time! *during the fall that is* He also enjoys going outdoors climbing a tree to hunt, fish wherever there is water, and golf in his spare time.
Alyssa mOGELNICKI, aDMINISTRATIVE aSST & mARKETING mANAGER
Our Administrative Assistant, Alyssa, has been with DHS since April of 2026 and has stepped into an Administrative role with a side of Marketing Management. She enjoys streamlining processes and creating eye-catching mood boards for home owners. She works alongside Jessie each week to ensure that each project gets personalized attention. When she’s not at the showroom with Jessie or bothering the Crew at a project, you can find her fly fishing with her husband, Scott, daughter and two (2) Pit Terrier Mixes. She loves to fly fish for trout, spend time with her family on outdoor adventures, and cook.
Laura hEATON, Designer
Our Designer, Laura, has been with DHS since September of 2026 and has stepped into our Design Role smoothly.
